Sammie Maxwell goes to the Olympics

Ian Hunt, a Consultant at Young Hunter, acted for Ms Maxwell in her successful appeal to the Sports Tribunal against a decision of Cycling New Zealand not to nominate her for selection by the NZOC to compete in the Women’s Mountain Bike event at the 2024 Paris Olympic Games.

After hearing the evidence and submissions of all parties, the Sports Tribunal found that the grounds of appeal were made out and conclusively determined that Ms Maxwell be nominated for selection to the New Zealand Olympic Team.
