Courtney’s journey: Courtney graduated from the University of Canterbury with a Bachelor of Laws in 2018 and was admitted as a barrister and solicitor of the High Court of New Zealand in June 2019. In 2011, prior to completing her law degree, Courtney obtained a Bachelor of Arts majoring in International Relations and Political Science from Victoria University of Wellington.
Before joining Young Hunter in 2024, Courtney worked for a medium sized law firm in Christchurch for five and a half years. Courtney is a legal aid provider for family law matters and is regularly appointed as Lawyer to Assist in the Family Court.
Courtney’s values: Courtney values honesty and the relationships she builds with her clients. Courtney understands what is at stake with each case and considers it a privilege to assist her clients to achieve the best possible outcomes for them and their family.
